award of $600 for the winner.
A SECOND PLACE
AWARD of $200.00 is being donated by the
SATURDAY MUSIC CLUB OF COLUMBUS.

OTTERBEIN COLLEGE, WESTERVILLE, OHIO
ELIGIBILITY: The entrant
must be a native born or naturalized citizen of the United States of America
and living in Ohio. The entrant must be
between 15-18 years of age as of March 1 of the competition year and a member
of the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs through an affiliated Jr. Music Club or
as an individual (junior special) member.
The entrant may choose his or her own accompanist and will be
responsible for that person’s compensation.

RULES:
1.
The entrant
should complete the application, shown below, and make a copy. Keep one for yourself and send one copy to
the state chairman: Janice Dunphy, 150

2010.
2.
There is an entry
fee of $15, which should be included with the application. (Check or money order should be made payable
to OFMC.)
3.
Entrants must be prepared to play, from memory, the
first or last movement of a Senior
Concerto which is listed in the NFMC Festival Bulletin. This can be the Senior Concerto that was
performed by the student at Junior Festival.

4. A contestant can win only one prize from
OFMC in a given year.
5. Unless high standards of performance are
met, no winner will be declared.
Decision of the
judges is final.
6. A copy of the movement of the senior
concerto must be supplied for the judges.
