2026 Convention

Welcome to the OFMC 2026 Convention

This year’s host is District IV situated in Northwest Ohio. The convention will be held starting on Friday, October 2, and concluding on Saturday, October 3, in Findlay, sitting 40 miles south of Toledo and known as “Flag City, USA.” The city also inspired the famous song “Down by the Old Mill Stream” and is home to a famous local, long-standing ice cream and chocolate shop, Dietsch Brothers.

Convention Location
This year’s convention will be held at the First Presbyterian Church located at 2330 South Main Street, just minutes from the convention hotel.

Convention Hotel

Friday night’s banquet will feature a hot buffet including:

Convention Performances & Speakers

The Friday night keynote speaker for the convention is NFMC President, Deborah Freeman. On Saturday, attendees will be treated to a talk from Doug Swiatecki discussing influential Ohio jazz musicians.

No OFMC convention would be complete without music. The Friday night public concert features one of NFMC’s outstanding winners of the 2025 Young Artist Awards, Misha Galant on piano. On Saturday, attendees will be treated to the OFMC choir, performing the works of convention chair, Denise K. Eikum, along with the Family of the Year, the Schneiders.
